  16. @arcana5335 on October 3, 2024 at 9:59 pm

How long do these keep? It’d be great to make a whole mess of them during the pumpkin harvest and have em all year but that may be asking a lot…

  17. @mikkikas6821 on October 3, 2024 at 10:00 pm

Cinnamon can cause low blood sugar, vomiting, and liver disease. while nutmeg and clove are toxic and is not good for dogs. A little ginger is ok. I also use oat flour. Becareful of the peanut butter as a lot has too much sugar, salt and some even xylitol. That can be deadly. We only use the NATURAL with just a couple ingredients. I’ve also made cookies with baby food chicken and unsweetened applesauce and oatmeal as well as with bbf beef. Pumpkin and sweet potatoes are also good. For that "chocolatey" drizzle, ONLY USE CAROB. IT IS ALLERGEN FREE and doesn’t have the harmful ingredients that can kill your dog. Even humans allergic to chocolate can have carob. I have had some carob nut clusters that you swear was chocolate😊 berries are good to add to the biscuits, too. Crush cranberries, blueberries and strawberries can be added. Foods safe for dogs or recommended can be added to the biscuits in different varieties. Just make sure they are small pieces no bigger than pea size and mix into the dough or batter. Store in the refrigerator in a container once baked.
And another cool thing, if you have a dehydrator, wash sweet potatoes, slice them about 1/4" thick and put them in to dry. Once dry, they will be like tough leather. For small dogs you may want to not dry as long making a softer chew or cutting them in thinner slices or even cut the slices in long strips for easy chewing. Experiment. These are Great chews for dogs as a snack or dessert to follow their meal! And yes, the skins are left on. No need to peel.😊

For peanut butter, make sure the ONLY ingredient is peanuts.

  19. @Giomalmsteen on October 3, 2024 at 10:07 pm

I make similar treats for my chickens. I mix in oats, flour, eggs, chia seeds, oregano, beef broth, honey, pumpkin and peanut butter. Gotta keep them fat for winter

  20. @bigal5255 on October 3, 2024 at 10:07 pm

  22. @katescaringcorner6765 on October 3, 2024 at 10:09 pm

Some brands of peanut butter can have toxic even fatal ingredients. Beware.

  23. @Katseye102 on October 3, 2024 at 10:09 pm

Now I was told ….by different people that you should use oat flour instead of wheat because some dogs have a tender tummy to wheat flour. You can make oat flour (because it can be pricey) out of oatmeal, just put it in your blender.

  24. @KT-yq7ed on October 3, 2024 at 10:09 pm

  33. @bigsistermaria5578 on October 3, 2024 at 10:22 pm

Pls dont use wheat flour. Use an alternative like almond, chick pea, rice etc.

  34. @djunakoenemund4334 on October 3, 2024 at 10:23 pm

All 4 of my fur babies are rescues. I have been msling dog treats for years ..their favorite is chicken and carrot. And because i have chickens i always add extra egg..
Kane is my picky one ..he wont eat store bought biscuts. He is my taste tester😅 All the dog cookies have to pass the Kane taste test😂

  35. @dominiquew.8181 on October 3, 2024 at 10:24 pm

No to these brands of peanut butter. Get natural peanut butter period with nothing added please.

  36. @jillgmitrowski7759 on October 3, 2024 at 10:26 pm

Make sure peanut butter does not contain Xylitol aka Burch Sugar aka Wood Sugar aka Birch Bark Extract. This is highly toxic to dogs.

  37. @gabrielleclemente9283 on October 3, 2024 at 10:28 pm

I have dog that becomes really picky, with any kind of food I give her. Could you keep making these videos? I would like to learn from you on how to make dog Treats, or dog Biscuits.🙂🐶

Oh My Goodness! Our two pups love these homemade biscuits! We think they ask to go outside just so they can turn around and come back in and get their “good dog” treat!

  41. @mayracastro4810 on October 3, 2024 at 10:29 pm

I tried it for my dog he loved it he ate everything 😅😂❤🎉

  42. @nunyabznz3029 on October 3, 2024 at 10:31 pm

My dog loves some treats from swanson vitamins called ‘brewer’s yeast formula’. The milk bones I have been feeding her are getting difficult to find so I am looking for alternatives. I have some of the non-fortified brewers yeast and think I might try to make this with some of the yeast in it.

  43. @averieldeathrider8407 on October 3, 2024 at 10:31 pm

I use this same recipe!! My dogs love them!!

  44. @nomadicroadrat on October 3, 2024 at 10:34 pm

Suggestions for the next time: Oat flour or pea flour instead of wheat flour. Sugar free peanut butter. Add turmeric and some applesauce (no need for honey or any other sweetener).
    just saying.

  45. @mccullochleah526 on October 3, 2024 at 10:35 pm

Hahaha my dogs spit those bones out to

  46. @frogicus on October 3, 2024 at 10:36 pm

    All the best .
