My two Aussisi were to easy to train, just got a teacup breed and it’s not so easy. Gonna be a long few months, we take him out every 20-30 minutes stay put side 15-30 minutes and nothing. Bring it inside and piss all over the place. Them mix breeds not the brightest things in the world.

what if the puppy can still not go out as the vaccines are not complete yet? We can do at balcony?

So do I get rid of puppy pads all together for my 9 week old labradoodle?
I take him out every hour. Crate him at night. But have a puppy pad out during the day ā€œjust in caseā€

    Am I confusing him?

Being a smoker who doesnā€™t smoke in the house Iā€™d just take my dog out every time I would smoke. So just start smoking lol

  7. @blackburneflw on October 3, 2024 at 9:48 pm

Dunno about ā€˜shockedā€™ or ā€˜perfectā€™ but at least you didnā€™t call it a ā€˜bathroom breakā€™ like the last YouTuber I watched. Itā€™s inevitable that pups piss & shit inside and training goes on for quite some months with many as no two pups are the same. Consistency and regularity are key in all facets of puppy training.

No I donā€™t agree ā€œdansā€ are cruel, how would you like to be locked in a cage? This video is garbage.

  11. @stephanieann6622 on October 3, 2024 at 9:55 pm

Unfortunately we cant crate train her. I wanted to so bad but her first time of her being left alone agter working for a couple weeks of me being home crate training she busted out of it, tore her fact and back up shes about a 1and half yr old pit/staffy mix we think it brings her back into being in the shelter ontop of her separation anxiety. Im baffled how she bent it the way she did to get out of a small hole as well

  12. @vickimartineznaughty7775 on October 3, 2024 at 9:55 pm

Yeah, what do you do as soon as you take them out of the cage ,they go rite away,on the floor? i live on the second floor.

  13. @joycehersh6010 on October 3, 2024 at 9:56 pm

Ok so I have a question if the puppy pees in the house do you spank them

  14. @yeolebast4665 on October 3, 2024 at 9:56 pm

PSA – if youā€™re using a padding in the crate for comfort, check under it once in a while in case he has had an accident. Ours was dry on top but had gone through to the bottom, likely causing some stress to the pup due to the smell in his den. All clean now though

Hi we have a question, we have an 8 week old puppy and we had built a puppy pad with pea gravel. He refuses to use it. He is still working on potty training and command word ā€œpottyā€. Do we focus first on him learning the potty training command word ā€œpottyā€ then move on to the specific potty location or do we do it all at the same time? He will not go on the potty gravel pad we built and continues to he holds it. However if we walk him on the leash through the yard he immediately will poop and pee. He pulls and refuses to use the gravel pad and will just lay down. Please help and thank you for all your great work!!!

Hello, thanks for the video. I have a 2 y/o dog (mini Goldendoodle) that I want to train to go in the garage on a puppy pad. I know itā€™s probably against what you preach but try to look past that for me šŸ˜‰. We did this successfully with our previous pup but this one isnā€™t getting it.

We keep him in a crate at night and when we canā€™t watch him but he still hasnā€™t connected the idea that he needs to let us know he has to go.

He will hit a belle when we tell him to go to the garage (7 out of 10xā€™s) but itā€™s not consistent enough. He gets little cheese ā€œtreatsā€ when he goes but how do we have him alert us when he needs to go? Thank you. šŸ¶

The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him.

    John 1:1,14 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us,

    1 John 3:8 KJV
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

    Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

    John 1:10
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT.

    John 3:18 KJV
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

  30. @phillcotterill6264 on October 3, 2024 at 10:17 pm

Thank you for your awesome videos Will. I have a red fox Labrador puppy about 11 weeks old. We have had him for only a few days but I have been doing all the things you suggest ie taking outside regularly and giving lots of praise when he goes. He still sometimes pees in the house though. I also walk him both around the street where we live and also at the nature centre a few mins from my house. When we go on these longer walks he often doesnā€™t pee but when we arrive home he will then pee in the living room within a few seconds of arriving home which is a little frustrating.
Could it be he is distracted when he is away from home.
I will continue to try and anticipate when he is doing but the peeing after a walk is puzzling me.
    Thanks
    Phill

  33. @abaddon0932 on October 3, 2024 at 10:18 pm

My advice for new owners is to soak up their pee or pick up poop and place it outside. You have to walk the dog around that area so they can smell around and be patient. If your pet pees or poops in the same area just clean it up really well and place their food in that location as it makes them understand that the whole house inside is their house as well. There are different approaches from different people but this one has worked great for me

  36. @addo-s- on October 3, 2024 at 10:22 pm

What if we have something scheduled midweek (i.e. going into the office) and have to go out, but we are in the middle of the potty training phase? Should we leave the puppy in the penned off area with the crate open (if it is not finished crate training)? Will that break the system, missing one whole day of the potty training?

  37. @tammyhall3144 on October 3, 2024 at 10:23 pm

I gott lucky. My rescued bull mastiff trained my other 2 rescue English Mastiffs
He would walk the fence line like he was on patrol and my pups still do it til this day

  38. @suiko2fan2 on October 3, 2024 at 10:23 pm

Weā€™ve had our puppy for a few weeks. We crate train her or we limit her freedom in a X-pen

We take her bathroom about every three hours or so in the daytime and first thing in the morning to the backyard. We do treats and praise.
But she still gets the idea that she can pee or poop in the house every other day or so. We interrupt it when we can pick her up and take her out, but it still happens.

Any suggestions for training this mini schnauzer?
