I really need HELP! My puppy is already 3 months old and it’s still having accidents in the house, even though I go with him outside. I don’t know what else to do 😢

First 20 sec that dog in the background scared me

Do you have a link to a video (or unpublished advice) on how to protect wood table and chair legs from puppy chewing damage?

  4. @2112ming on October 3, 2024 at 9:42 pm

How to train a puppy in an apartment? You can’t bring the puppy down outside every hours or so at night.

  5. @haruno21 on October 3, 2024 at 9:43 pm

I love it,but I gotta do stuff in my house. Sometimes I take my eyes 2 SECONDS and my puppy has peed. Do I quit my job to avoid accidents? LOL

  6. @TGMango19 on October 3, 2024 at 9:43 pm

What about if we leave to get food or something and they have an accident?

But what about he doesn’t have his vaccines yet or is fully protected. My backyard has lots,of night creatures like skunks, foxes, deers armadillos so m concern that he’ll catch something. I’m using cloth pads inside playpen and next to crate at night. And I’m waiting till he’s 4 months to start taking him outside to potty. He does have accidentes but I got tile and wood floor

Hello, thanks for the video. I have a 2 y/o dog (mini Goldendoodle) that I want to train to go in the garage on a puppy pad. I know it’s probably against what you preach but try to look past that for me 😉. We did this successfully with our previous pup but this one isn’t getting it.

We keep him in a crate at night and when we can’t watch him but he still hasn’t connected the idea that he needs to let us know he has to go.

He will hit a belle when we tell him to go to the garage (7 out of 10x’s) but it’s not consistent enough. He gets little cheese “treats” when he goes but how do we have him alert us when he needs to go? Thank you. 🐶

  16. @leighwarren on October 3, 2024 at 9:54 pm

So as he’s peeing on my rug, I don’t say ’no’? We literally went outside. He peed. Pooped. Peed again. We took our time. I normally confine him to my kitchen with me but figured I’d let him explore the dining room (and door to go outside to try to get him to learn the door goes out for potty time). Anyway, we come back in, within 5 mins, he’s on the rug squatting-it was only a dribble and he def forced it just to mark it. I yelled no no no. Scooped him up and we went back outside, but he didn’t have to go. The rug is tight woven rug, not grass line at all. (And newer, never peed on). I do all the things and getting frustrated bc it’s only 1-2 times a day he has a pee accident in the house. He sleeps 8 hours solid without peeing in the crate. (He’s 9 weeks about 12 pounds)

I am planning to adopt a puppy and your videos are very helpful. I did subscribe your channel as your videos are giving me confidence to go forward with adopting. I do have a question about potty training. You recommended to take the puppy out every hour for a potty break. When I do this, how long should I wait in the area before I take it back inside until the next break? Also, how to make it learn to pee or poop in a small designated area rather than my whole backyard? I was planning to have the designated area in my garage so its easy for any season. Would it be a good idea? Please let me know.

  26. @loulou1248 on October 3, 2024 at 10:01 pm

What if you have to sleep early to wake up early? And are too tired to wake up throughout the night?

  27. @jamalama5548 on October 3, 2024 at 10:04 pm

There is no potty involved. It’s called house breaking your dog.

  28. @viriiu8 on October 3, 2024 at 10:05 pm

I’ve trained puppy to use pee pad how do I now transition to potty outside 😵‍💫

  29. @myfoodmywayofficial on October 3, 2024 at 10:06 pm

Rachel – Today I woke up crying because I just couldn’t understand why my boy is still peeing everywhere but my girl is already going outside. I watched this video and it really changed my prospective! Thank you for an awesome experience!

My puppy pees out of nervousness and territory. I let him out every damn hour. This is exhausting

  36. @regiegija02 on October 3, 2024 at 10:16 pm

My dog is 3yo, he pees on a pad but only does #2 on ramdoms areas on the floor. Do u have a video that can help with that?

  37. @saskiasullivan1994 on October 3, 2024 at 10:17 pm

This is a great video but not everyone can take off work to potty train. Can you make a designated spot in the house for when you’re not home and they can’t hold it?

  38. @jm85811 on October 3, 2024 at 10:17 pm

How is this potty training in one week though?

  40. @skylaradele8090 on October 3, 2024 at 10:20 pm

I’m having difficulty. My puppy is 3 months old and rescued. He isn’t potty train. I take him out every hour or less. Sigh. It’s not super fun at all.

I love your enthusiasm. But it drives me crazy how you take so many breaths between words. It’s distracting. Are you having a problem breathing? It’s super annoying. Love your information tho. All the inhales make me feel like I’m suffocating. Lol!😂

  44. @mazfarnadeem1846 on October 3, 2024 at 10:29 pm

I don’t like cats but they’re soo easy to poty train

  45. @williamshaw2189 on October 3, 2024 at 10:31 pm

Our first dog (Golden Doodle) was excellent. Think the breeder helped with this. After a week I could leave her and she would tell me when she needs to go potty.

We have a Bernedoodle puppy now (11 weeks old) and its a different story. Hence my comment on this video. Hopefully our persistence will set him up for success. He has had a few accidents inside though but we are steadily molding his brain to understand house vs yard.

  46. @cecilebraillie4471 on October 3, 2024 at 10:31 pm

I’m sorry, but this is the same advice you see everywhere. Basically watching your dog like a hawk 24/7 and taking him out every 30 minutes. It just isn’t feasible. Who wants to be constantly stressing like this? If it was just one week, that would be fine, but it takes months. If you have a garden it’s not a problem, but if you’re living in an apartment in the city where you’d have to go out on the street in the middle of the night, this is not a solution. You’d need at least a balcony where he can do his business, or as a last resort put a doggie toilet in the hall.

Hey I need some advise if you have any to offer. My wife bought an eleven m/o small breed puppy which had been raised mostly in an xpen on pads with little to no time outside the pen. this is not what my wife was told but… reality is real. Will I ever be able to stop this puppy from p&p in her crate over night? I am not even thinking about her roaming the house right now if ever. I wake up and put her out every three to four hours at night and often she waits till she is back in her crate to release even if I keep her outside > 30 minutes. I have to sleep sometime. I am a large breed person and have seen this in them from time to time but never like this. Help!

  49. @kelleylee6342 on October 3, 2024 at 10:37 pm

Do yo retrain adult dogs this way too- mine are pottying in the house. We have used 8 different products and can’t get rid of the smell including my pet peed. there are stains on the carpet and we use our steam cleaner much of the time. had a puppy 2 weeks -he is 17 weeks today we are potty training- he and my other male wear belly bands in the house and this little guy will poop in his crate he is a phantom poodle

  50. @romevalentini2869 on October 3, 2024 at 10:39 pm

What if I bring them outside he doesn’t go than I bring him back in and he goes
