Would this recipe help my dog lose weight? I recently started making dog food using brown rice, a little spinach, sweet potato with meat well drained. This is my first time viewing. Thanks, Mary

I am curious about how you figure out the percentages of the meal. So if you’re using 1 lb of meat then how do you figure out the amount to be 10 or 20%? As far as the vegetables? I’m sure it’s a mathematical equation that I just don’t know how to do…LOL!!

  17. @Ftybr57 on October 3, 2024 at 9:55 pm

Do you have a recipe for pancreatic issues? I’m desperate. Thank you😊😊😊

  18. @leafeliciano1230 on October 3, 2024 at 9:56 pm

I can’t find vension meat anywhere how about ground pork ?

  19. @robiny.4395 on October 3, 2024 at 9:58 pm

I am in a hunting state and can’t bring myself to kill an animal. Venison is rather expensive, as rabbit which is what my Vet said was a good source of protein.

  24. @danielabodemer168 on October 3, 2024 at 10:03 pm

Really appreciate the expert advice, thank you.
Re video, dont understand the need to constantly switch camera view to make it ‘interesting’. Its distracting. Simpler is better.

My dog stopped eating kibble so I started feeding her homemade food without transitioning her. she has soft stools with a mucus covering them. What can I do to help her?

  26. @AthenaT-o2m on October 3, 2024 at 10:06 pm

Hi Cam, thank you so much for your video. May I know what are the alternatives of meat as I don’t get venison easily in my country. Is salmon suitable?if yes, do i follow the same amount? Thank you.

  27. @janicefan1678 on October 3, 2024 at 10:07 pm

    Why just for two months?

  28. @Belikova78 on October 3, 2024 at 10:10 pm

Hello. How can I become a dog nutritionist like you?

  29. @9999adriane on October 3, 2024 at 10:11 pm

Thank you good information! BUT Venison according to Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine is energetically hot so I think this meat could potentially make it worse. Novel proteins are rabbit, pork, duck I believe those are more nuetral on the body. Thoughts on turkey…?

We need help..my English bulldog had a bad reaction to beef which caused a number of bacterial skin issues..he had too many does of antibiotics to get everything under control. He know has terrible inflammation so not sure if it’s allergies or leaky gut but we need help. Currently put him on raw duck since it’s a cooling protein but not sure yet if it’s helping. Would you recommend this?

  31. @toyah4011 on October 3, 2024 at 10:12 pm

Hi there. I just want to make sure I understand so I can make the best decision. This diet will work long-term IF I find the right protien that my puppy/dog is not allergic to? I make a recipe from a "Dr" here on YouTube that is beef based, and he starts to itch and become warm on the belly. Thanks for any help you can offer.

  32. @ShilTalks on October 3, 2024 at 10:12 pm

My dog has chicken allergy and also has hip displacia , please suggest something so she gets enough protein for her leg strength and also lose weight.

  33. @Jobu567 on October 3, 2024 at 10:14 pm

  34. @bunnycampari1772 on October 3, 2024 at 10:15 pm

How long do I need to keep my pup on the same diet to figure out if it’s working?

  35. @Lisanah3 on October 3, 2024 at 10:15 pm

Hello Cam, you mentioned in the video that dogs can’t be on it for more than two months as it’s not a complete food. What do I feed my cavapoo after two months?

  36. @ltorromcc on October 3, 2024 at 10:17 pm

    Thank you 😃👍🏼

  37. @annieha119 on October 3, 2024 at 10:18 pm

Can you use this recipe and just change the protein for the same portion?

  38. @joannalalicata1281 on October 3, 2024 at 10:19 pm

You mentioned this is only a 2 months trial. So if it works can I continue with this daily? Is venison meat & liver adequate for lifetime?

    Hi Cam
My 3 year old Shiba Inu is suffering from bad skin, propably allergies and scratches himself bloody since two month. I tried everything to help him. Can you give me an email address to reach you for help?

  41. @SamDixon-c5n on October 3, 2024 at 10:24 pm

Is it ok to use a diet of beef & heart or lamb & liver with courgette & squash long term as my dog has several allergies and is now settled on this after a month of cooking for him with no itchiness. I am also adding your multi vitamin to each meal. Or do I need to add other veg? Thanks

  46. @kdevious on October 3, 2024 at 10:29 pm

Hi Cam – love your videos. I’m curious if you have an intolerance test you recommend. I’ve heard of 5 Strands, but not much more. Thanks!

Hi Cam, thank you so much for this channel. My Westie has really bad allergies and I’m at my wits end. I purchased everything from the video but I don’t know the portion amount for my baby 😊. She is 4.5 yrs old and weights 23lbs. Thank you so much

I had another dog nutritionist tell me not to feed spinach. Do you agree with this?
