I have been watching your videos for a few months now I’m about to get my first goldendoodle and looking forward to use your techniques

Our dog had 2 of those 3 things when we got him as a puppy, he only needed socializing and he knew exactly what communication was

My husky is immune to loud noises . And he was almost 2 years old when he had to first be put in a crate during a house party one day . I was anxious / nervous but to my surprise he was totally chill and cool with it . Idk if that’s because he trusts me and knows he’ll be good there or if it’s his 3/4 husky or the 1/4 Shepard in him but I struggle to understand how people can’t get their dogs to be chilln in a crate. Especially if they are training it w/ that goal in mind .

Why to put you dog in the crate during the night?

  7. @thebetterayesha7345 on October 3, 2024 at 9:41 pm

We have a dog that just turned one. She got attacked at a park and lost all her training. We’ve been through the trainers with no luck. The potty training thing is worse to me than the krate issue.

  8. @beverlybuckhorn9168 on October 3, 2024 at 9:44 pm

My dog crate trained me by escaping every time she went in even after using padlocks, clamps on corners. I’ve never been able to find out how she gets out it’s impossible. So I’m now trained not to bother using the crate.

I started putting my dog in different real life situations from 8 weeks old but I still don’t understand why she is in flight mode near garbage trucks, strangers, cars, bikes, strollers, young kids…

I agree with the first two things but I totally disagree with locking dogs in cages. You seem to be making the point that any dog who isn’t locked in a cage howls or barks. That’s rubbish! My dogs have never been in a cage in their lives and they don’t have a barking problem at all. One doesn’t bark at all and the other only barks if a stranger comes to the house. There are plenty of ways to raise quiet dogs if you know how!

How to teach a puppy to give paw(I did it this way)

    1. Get him to sit

    2. Constantly tell him to give hand(Asians do this)

    3. Just grab his paw in a nice way😍

    4. Repeat until ur dog does give you paw😂

    5. Give treat😈

(Extra) When you grab ur dog’s paw say “hand” to show the instruction and/or “yes!🎉” to let him/her know this is a good thing to do(idk how to say it lol😂)

  15. @susan9188 on October 3, 2024 at 9:53 pm

My puppy socialised. My puppy potty trained in three weeks. He goes in his his crate at night on his own without barking or whining until morning, BUTif I go out, even for 15 minutes he cries and whines in the crate all the time wven though I leave some treats in it 😞🥺.

  16. @beverlybuckhorn9168 on October 3, 2024 at 9:53 pm

By the way she’s a German Shepherd Basenji mix 8 months old.

  17. @NopeJustMe on October 3, 2024 at 9:55 pm

Crate training is a bust. I hired a professional trainer and everything is going great except that. I have 3 rescue dogs. Two are puppy mill dogs, one who spent the first 2 yrs of his life stuck in a crate. My puppy HATES it. He will feed in it, he will go in and out on command, he will do everything but be in there with the door closed peacefully.

  18. @Me1-s7f on October 3, 2024 at 9:56 pm

Potty training is a cake walk but crate training is a pain

  19. @elizabethonotu3758 on October 3, 2024 at 9:56 pm

  20. @stickyricky6232 on October 3, 2024 at 9:57 pm

The last one is so true the first 2 weeks with my dog I wanted to put it back by the shelter

  22. @moniquekennethglass2650 on October 3, 2024 at 10:00 pm

All of that is facts but at the same time teaching is what it is all about at the end of the day so we want for our pet/kid’s to hear us this builds a even bigger and better bund together

  23. @lewispetty7829 on October 3, 2024 at 10:01 pm

We had a parvo outbreak in the area when we got our dog. Socializing because touch because we were trying to keep him healthy. Think that affected him for a while until he got big

  24. @yourgirlmariska331 on October 3, 2024 at 10:02 pm

Quick question, I have a one year old cane Corso, just got her a monthish ago. She was sick as a puppy and got no training or socialization. She is very fearful and can be aggressive only at our house. Got any tips to help me?

  25. @yogesh8107 on October 3, 2024 at 10:02 pm

Socialising before vaccines are safe ?

  26. @joegixxer1k942 on October 3, 2024 at 10:03 pm

My dog will not poop in a mowed yard. Only in the woods or in a field. My favorite thing about him. Took many months and countless hours walking him away from the house and to the field to use the bathroom

  27. @deannyeltatzie7759 on October 3, 2024 at 10:03 pm

Please explain why people put there pets in crates? For me, unless your pet is pyscho, then what is the purpose of crate training? Crate or not, if your animal wants to howl or bark, do you really think a crate is going to help? If anything, it could make it worse!

  28. @DarrylMarshall-k9j on October 3, 2024 at 10:03 pm

1,000% agree… All three were the first thing I did with my Presas

  29. @zoisem870 on October 3, 2024 at 10:04 pm

1# is so real, my pitbull is so friendly and nice, but whenever we’re around other dogs he doesn’t understand how to act simply because it was always just me and him in my backyard.

  31. @Chamb3rMaid on October 3, 2024 at 10:07 pm

Theres a lot of people who think crates are cruel. Those people are wrong. I have a great dane, so her crate is apartment sized, but it’s her safe space. It took 3 days to crate train her.

  32. @denisea8747 on October 3, 2024 at 10:08 pm

Thats why older wiser dogs are sometimes the best fit for a lot of people ❤❤❤❤

  33. @jsweet744 on October 3, 2024 at 10:10 pm

we screwed up, we didnt socialize them enough and now they’re too big, nobody wants to get near them now 🙁

  34. @Sh3r-Bear on October 3, 2024 at 10:11 pm

I couldn’t socialize my American Boxer pup for the 1st year due to bad backyard breeders. He was horribly emaciated & sickly. Now he’s a 105lb 6yo scared of his own shadow. I know it’s my fault but I really don’t know what to do now. Any suggestions appreciated.😊

My German Sheppard is crate trained. But sleeps with me when I want him to. But can stay in his crate for 6 hours I just do not like doing that to him because I enjoy him sleeping in my room but if he’s in my face he gets crated. But I wear him out or try to every day. He eats all
Meals and hangs out sometimes in his crate and I also lock him up if I do short errands such and gym / groceries so I can leave my ac on while I’m gone or else I gotta leave my back door open and he digs sometimes too

  37. @gamerking1243 on October 3, 2024 at 10:13 pm

My dog was a puppy during covid 🙁

  38. @twsd on October 3, 2024 at 10:14 pm

Another critical issue when training a dog is to train it not to run outside without your permission. We lost our dog yesterday because of it.

  39. @emilypigg883 on October 3, 2024 at 10:16 pm

I have a puppy hes six months old im getting him fixed next week ive been taking him out since he was 13 weeks everytime he sees a animal he acts like he wants to kill it? Off leash control is some black magic to me. But I have a husky, I have not seen anyone doing that with one.

  42. @lindaloverro2464 on October 3, 2024 at 10:18 pm

I didn’t grow up with crate training, but I got a purebred for free cause she was returned and she was crate trained, it was wonderful

  43. @jarver4761 on October 3, 2024 at 10:21 pm

I have a Covid pup. Got her, then was sent home for 5 months. She’s never pulled out of that isolation. 4 years old and shakes in the corner over everything. Crate and potty trained. I can set a steak out and tell her to leave it, go take a shower and come back to a steak. Can’t seem to get that fear out of her though.

  44. @aniken6877 on October 3, 2024 at 10:21 pm

I’m not putting my dog in a crate.

  45. @kabbyhearts on October 3, 2024 at 10:26 pm

We only used the crate when he was a puppy to go pee and poop in. We would put a little bed near his crate but not too close. And then we would put pee pads in and around his crate…he he can wipe his paws. It worked for our dog when he was a puppy. Other than that, he had free access to roam around the house. Didn’t have any accidents what so ever

My mum got two chihuahuas during 2020 lockdown. They’re super loving to family, but by god they’re demons outside the house. They’re not socialised and hate everything that makes sound or moves, one is incredibly reactive on the lead and the other is so territorial that he drives himself insane with anxiety. My mum thinks it’s just their breed and that it’s not her fault. They’re almost 5 so she swears training them won’t work. They’ve lowkey put me off ever having a dog of my own lol

  50. @leejohnson2024 on October 3, 2024 at 10:33 pm

I get why kennel training is a good thing, ive just never done it and have always had good results. Probably bc im just lucky and got good dogs.
